LEDVANCE has optimized its second generation of Damp Proof Special moisture-proof luminaires for demanding tasks in agriculture and industry. Their fully sealed housing is made of highly resistant polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and is thus impervious to chemical cleaning agents, cleaning fluids and oil. The Damp Proof Special models meet the criteria for IP67 and IP69K protection classes. The German Agricultural Society (DLG) has certified the luminaires, which are available in various versions, as resistant to ammonia, confirming that the sealed housing and choice of materials allow them to be used in agricultural applications. Adjustable mounting brackets can be freely positioned along the entire length of the luminaire, allowing existing mounting holes to be used. This simplifies installation. The Damp Proof Special luminaires are available now with a five-year warranty for installers.

The LEDVANCE portfolio of damp-proof luminaires includes the two classes Performance and Value. In addition to the Damp Proof Special, the Performance class is characterized by both its classic and its modern compact form.
