DB series switchboards that meet the 650°C heat resistance requirement may only be used on non-combustible substrates (e.g. solid walls made of non-combustible materials). They must not be used on combustible substrates (e.g. plasterboard, wood, etc.), on so-called "blank walls" or on technical risers.
