Product description ISOLED bollard light 450 anthracite, IP44, PIR motion sensor - (without bulb)

ISOLED bollard light 450 anthracite, IP44, PIR motion sensor - (without bulb)

ISOLED bollard light 450 in anthracite with PIR motion sensor is a practical and efficient solution for outdoor lighting. The IP44 rating protects the luminaire against dust and splashing water ingress and ensures reliable outdoor functioning.

The luminaire has an E27 socket, which allows the use of standard light bulbs. Please note that the bulb is not included.

The integrated PIR motion sensor detects movement around the luminaire and automatically turns on the light, providing increased safety and energy efficiency.

The housing of the luminaire is made of sturdy metal in anthracite and is therefore durable and stable. The timeless design of the bollard light blends perfectly into any environment and is an attractive addition to any outdoor space.

The installation of the bollard light is simple and straightforward. With its high functionality and clear, reduced design, the ISOLED bollard light 450 in anthracite with PIR motion sensor is an ideal solution for lighting paths, driveways and gardens outdoors.

PIR sensor

A PIR sensor, short for "passive infrared sensor", is a device used to detect movement in its environment. These sensors are particularly useful in security systems and automation applications because they allow you to respond to the presence of people or animals without the need for physical contact.

The PIR sensor takes advantage of the fact that all bodies above absolute zero (-273°C) emit infrared radiation. This radiation is detected by the sensor and converted into an electrical voltage. When an object moves within the sensor's detection range, the object's infrared radiation becomes stronger and the sensor detects the change. This results in an electrical signal being triggered that can be used to activate alarm systems, lighting or other electronic devices.

There are a variety of applications for PIR sensors, including intrusion detectors, motion detectors for lighting, and even in automated door systems. These sensors are also useful in animal research to monitor wildlife behavior or in agriculture to count or monitor animals.

An important factor when using PIR sensors is positioning. The sensor must be positioned to cover the desired area and to prevent movement outside the monitoring area from causing false alarms. In addition, the sensor's settings can be adjusted to increase or decrease sensitivity, depending on the specific requirements of the application.
