Megaman plant lamp LED reflector PAR38 IP55 12W-E27/special

Special lamps with photobiological light. Promotes plant growth and flowering. Ideal for home growing, flower stores or nursery. Special lamps, not suitable for room lighting in the home and as UV lamps for terrariums and aquariums.

For plant lamps, the light intensity, the illumination area and the distance to the plants must be coordinated. The higher the irradiance in µmol/s and the more focused the illumination, the further away the plant lamp can be positioned. The results depend on other environmental factors, such as the quality of natural daylight and the duration of illumination.

The brightness of a normal light source is expressed by its luminous flux in lumens. The suitability for a particular lighting task can be expressed by the luminous intensity in lux. 1 lux is a luminous flux of 1 lumen, which it distributes evenly over an area of 1 square meter. In bright sunshine, one measures about 80,000 lux. In dense deciduous forest still about 1,500 lux. With plant lamps it is different. Here, it is not the brightness of the light source that is the measure of all things, but its irradiance. The irradiance is the photon flux (quantum flux) of light of a certain, biologically effective wavelength. The photon flux or quantum flux is the number of photons in µmol that strike a surface per second and unit area.
